The Basket of Knowledge Challenge

Thursday afternoon, the teachers introduced us to a challenge that we will be completing over the next two Thursday afternoons.

Today we watch the video about the baskets of knowledge and then we had a closer look at some of the kete designs that Mrs Lunn had found for us. We talked about the added challenge. Not only do we need to MAKE a kete of knowledge, we need to put inside 5 things that will represent one of the whiringa. We need to keep our whiringa a secret so don't be surprised if we show any of the plans close up until next week!

Then we began to design our own kete...

Next Thursday, we will have 30 minutes to construct our kete. We will have to be super speedy.

We will also have to gather or make our 5 clues of our whiringa to put inside.

We can't wait!
