Waka Design Challenge

This afternoon, the teachers introduced us to a challenge that we will be completing over the next two Thursday afternoons.

Today we watch the video about Rāta's Canoe and then we had a closer look at some of the waka designs that Mrs Lunn had found for us. We talked about what we could see they all have in common.

Then we began to design our own waka...

Next Thursday, we will have 30 minutes to construct our waka. We will have to be super speedy.
