Liam Lister:
Once there was a girl called Medusa. She thought she was the best. Medusa and her friends went to the top of a temple. She thought Athena was not as cool as her... boo. Athena turned Medusa into a beast. She was banned from the human realm.

The story of Medusa
Hello mortals. I’m Poseidon, god of waters and lord of horses. I'm here to tell you the story of when one of the most beautiful maidens turned into a monster by offending the goddess Athena. Goddess of wisdom, battle strategy and arts and crafts. She is also the patron goddess of the Athens, where the beautiful maiden Medusa was born. Medusa was a lovely maiden, with such radiant beauty that she became fond of gazing upon herself. She was a narcissist, looking at herself every chance she got. Her beauty sparkled so much that she attracted the attention of me, Poseidon. Whilst we were dating, I want to impress her by taking her to the temple of Athena. Me and Athena didn't get along well, since we recently (we'll, recently for a god anyway. It was actually 20 decades ago) had a competition to be Athen’s patron god/goddess, and Athena won with her olive tree. I could feel Athena’s rage trickle down my neck, as me and Medusa took a single, slow sep into the temple. It felt like an eternity before the first step finished. I've actually been alive for an eternity, so I know what it's like. I looked down at Medusa, and was shocked to see her looking at the statues in disgust. “This temple would be SO much more popular if it was based on me and not that rag doll Athena. She should be a minor goddess,” and with that, everyone fled out of the temple, astonished by Medusa’s behaviour. Poseidon Knew that one more act of disliking for Athena would put Medusa in trouble… “See? They're also amazed by how ugly and dumb she is, aren't I right, Poseidon?” now I know that she's done it, I thought. As Medusa admired herself in the bronze doors, I could now feel Athena’s presence, and I could sense that she's outraged. “WHAT DID YOU SAY, PUNY MORTAL!” boomed a voice around the temple. Medusa was startled to find Athena in her reflection rather than herself. “Puny mortal. You’ve fooled everyone long enough. Even though your outside is pure, your heart is not. I will curse you with you unable to see your reflection, otherwise you’ll turn into stone. And I will give you the hair of one of my sacred animals, snakes, which will ruin your beauty,” finished Athena. I do not want to recount the transformation from the girl I loved into a monster. Medusa then went down to the Realm of Hades so she turns no one into stone.
that is my fave
Yup. That's me. I'm proud of me!
