Roll A Story

In Poutama we love Roll a Stories. These are sheets that have 6 different options for Character, Setting and Plot on them. We roll a dice to find out which ones we need to include in our story.

This is the roll a story we were using today...

Here are some examples of what we came up with:

One time ago, in a magical forest far away, there lived a zombie.

He was quite lonely because everyone thought he was creepy. He wanted to show them he was nice. The zombie left the village to find a way to prove he was a good zombie.

He entered a forest and found a… magic wand. He wondered if he could use it to make everybody think he is good. He carefully picked up the sparkly wand and headed back to the village. ABRACADABRA! He used his magic to make the whole village love him.

In a galaxy far far away… Angry aliens have invaded the galaxy. It's all up for the last Jedis to stop them! Some Jedi's have died some have survived some master Jedis have Defeated heaps of Aliens. One Jedi Jake is just being trained by one master Jedi Logan they have bean training for many years and it's finally time for Jake to fight.

Hi. I’m a cowboy sick of my life so I've gone on a cruise. I walked down the stairs to level 2. Suddenly I heard a noise. Rustle. Rustle. Slowly I approached the noise. I found a cardboard box. Rustle. I grabbed my pocket knife and cut the tape… to find dozens of spiders. Yelling and screaming I sprinted up stairs to level 9. I ran toward the pool and plunged into it turning the water black. Phew that was a close one!

One haunted midnight on a fancy yacht. Me and my friends Alec, Kaito and jack were playing tag But suddenly I wandered all around the humongous ship in my room, in the kitchen and the lounge but i couldn’t find Alec anywhere. But i looked under the couch and found a strange black and blue box. I gathered my friends around. They all wondered what was was inside so I poised my right hand over it. And opened it.

On a faraway ship a scientist found a glowing wand and said”I wish zombies were real” ”brains” a green monster screamed”I know who to call Iron Man” he said before the Zombie ate him up, for breakfast,.Iron Man got the call and flew over and blew up the ship.the morale to the story is not all wishes should came true.

Many years ago there was a cowboy named Noah. The little cowboy was riding his trusty horse named Boris into a magic forest called Winter Horror-land. Suddenly the ground starts to shake, the creatures run away.

‘’ What's going on?’’ said Noah.

I saw an angry alien that said.’’I will destroy the universe Mu-ha-ha!

Then raised spawners from the goring and spawned zombies and charged at me! I panicked. Then something came to my mind. I used my lasso and pulled the alien and SMASHED! Him into the ground.

The zombies turned to statues and the spawners broke.

GAME OVER.

Everything went back to normal since that happened.

Roar! I’m a big scary dinosaur on a big ship. Trying to find a magic wand. He-he. Splash! He jumped from the boat. Stamp, stamp. The dinosaur said “arrrrrr”. The people ‘hi what do you want?’ Sniff, sniff, stop! Smash the door flew open when someone was in a shower! “Where is it? Yes i found it”. Crash. The dinosaur made his escape. Come back said the captain of the ship to the dinosaur. “Nooo!”.
