Today for our PE session, focusing on small ball skills, we played Ti Uru. This game helps us to explore our hand/eye coordination along with working as a team.

Today's session was based on exploration and learning the rules:

  • No stepping

  • 1m from the ball when defending

  • Playing in thirds - like netball

  • You win a point when your player catches the ball on the rubber mat

  • Remove the rubber mat once it has been scored on

  • First team with no mats left win

Tomorrow we will look into positions, defending, centre and attacking.
