Today for our PE session, focusing on small ball skills, we played Ti Uru. This game helps us to explore our hand/eye coordination along with working as a team.
Today's session was based on exploration and learning the rules:
No stepping
1m from the ball when defending
Playing in thirds - like netball
You win a point when your player catches the ball on the rubber mat
Remove the rubber mat once it has been scored on
First team with no mats left win
Tomorrow we will look into positions, defending, centre and attacking.
