Capital P for Perseverance

Wow, what an almighty swimming session for Liam today! He is working on his gliding in the water.

Mrs Whitta could see that he was interested in what the other group was working on - adding kicks.

The first part of the video is Liam gliding and kicking. But this wasn't enough for him. Liam wanted to add the freestyle stoke as well. So he spent a lot of time using the flutter board and added in his arm work.

Liam then got the confidence to get rid of the flutter board. The second video is of Liam swimming freestyle without a flutter board for the first time. We are extremely proud of him!!!

Liam showed true perseverance today and earned himself a perseverance pin!!

From gliding to kicking, kicking to using the flutter board, flutter board to freestyle!!!
