Pink Shirt Day

Today was Pink Shirt Day. We had a korero about what Pink shirt day actually means and what the kaupapa (theme/topic) was all about. Poutama watched a video about how this kaupapa all started. Take a look at this video to understand it's beginning:

Poutama were exceptional listeners and they channeled their new learning into creating their own message. We heard a lot of statements such as:

• Stand up for everyone

• Stand on two feet

• Don't bully

• Don't be the bully

• Be kind
