As you may know, we have our workshops at set times over the day. Sometimes we get busy and lose track of the time and then the teachers have to come and find us. This week, we came up with a solution: A Timekeeper Mangotoa.
One of our friends gets to wear the special lanyard and is charged with going around the class to make sure everyone knows what time it is and checks everyone is in the right place. It is a very responsible job.
If we don't go to our workshop, the Timekeeper Mangotoa can give us a Workshop Infringement ticket! That means we have to pay a fine of 50 snidges! No one wants to do that! So as you can imagine, we are all getting to our workshops quick smart!
Our first Timekeeper was Ryla. She did a fabulous job. We have a different person in this role each day so that no one misses out on their SDL time. When it is the Timekeepers own workshop time, they can quickly lend the job to a trusted friend. So far it is working great!
